This one-of-a-kind football match will bring together a team of Portugal’s great football legends to face a global lineup of iconic players, all united in the goal of raising €1,000,000 in support of the Sport Global Charitable Foundation’s beneficiary charities: Red Cross Ukraine, Red Cross Portugal, Caritas Portugal, and International Alert. The event will serve as the official opening of SBC Summit 2025, taking place in Lisbon from September 16 to 18. The industry exhibition is expected to welcome over 30,000 industry professionals from around the world.
This landmark charity match will feature football legends such as Kaka, Luís Figo, Gheorghe Hagi, Peter Schmeichel, Ricardo Quaresma, Ricardo Carvalho, Deco, Cafu, Javier Zanetti, Edwin van der Sar, Henrik Larsson, and many more from Portugal and across the globe, playing in front of 60,000 fans and millions of global viewers. More than a tribute to football’s legacy, the game is a powerful symbol of unity, generosity, and the enduring impact of sport as a force for good.

The Legends Charity Game is organized by Sport Global, with the support of key partners including the Portuguese Football Federation, Sporting CP, and Benfica. The match will be held at either Estádio da Luz or Estádio José Alvalade, depending on UEFA scheduling, and will be streamed and televised globally.
